What happens in a Personal Color Consultation?
During your Personal Color Analysis and Consultation, I will be your guide through the basics of color theory and help you to see yourself with new eyes. In the studio/color laboratory, you will be systematically draped in a series of colored drapes to test for the color harmony and balance found in the 12 different seasonal color palettes designed by nature and based around the Munsell 3D model of color. One of these palettes is YOURS!
In the TCI (True Colour International) method, only the best, state-of-the-art scientifically calibrated drapes are used in a systematic series to test for hue, value, and chroma - the three dimensions in the scientific model of color. And we do it in a color controlled environment (neutral gray-scale, full-spectrum lighting). If your hair is colored, we do need to cover it in the neutral gray cap. Integrity and Accuracy are the goals here! Each palette is beautiful and should reflect the work of art you already are.
Your seasonal color palette tool has 65+ colors to get you started, and we will practice using the swatchbook There are hundreds more colors that you can learn to recognize using the tool. These are state of the art books printed using highest quality archival ink on archival canvas so it’s colorfast for 30+ years, complete in its own neoprene wetsuit case, since it will serve as your lifelong color companion to help you find your bearings in the wilderness of constantly changing fashion trends!
If desired, you can add on a basic makeup application to the consultation. Bring some of your own and/or I am stocked with many options from all 12 color palettes. Let’s find a lipstick that finally works! This should get you started exploring your cosmetic colors in a quality line of skincare and cosmetics!
